Week 5 weigh in

Well this week I was horrible over the weekend.  My husband was out of town and so my mom was over we had cookies, fast food, root beer floats, and way too much.  So needless to say I gained.  BOOOO!  On Tuesday I started working out again and trying to be better.  Here are this weeks results:
Starting weight:  166.2
Last week weight: 158.8
This week: 159.2
So luckily it was only a .4 gain but still.  Why do I keep thinking that I can go crazy during the weekends and then work my butt off during the week.  I need to STOP this cycle if I really want to get to business.  So my plan is to try to be really good this weekend.  Eat more fruits and not crappy food.  Also I need to work out one day during the weekend atleast.  Here is hoping for a better week.

Week 4 weigh in

This week has been interesting as far as my eating and exercise has gone.  I worked out on Friday.  Then we went camping at the cabins by Bear River.  I packed licorice, gummy bears, cookies, things for s'mores, light yogurt, apples, turkey sandwiches, and a few other healthier food.  I was so worried I was going to over eat.  Well the licorice, gummy bears, and cookies came home uneaten, the only "bad" things I ate wer the s'mores and the poptarts.  The rest of the time I was really good and I was walking around a lot.  When I came home and weighed in the middle of the afternoon my weight was 160. something I was so happy to see I LOST not gained. 

I worked out Monday, Tuesday, and Friday so not a whole lot.  I had family that came into town on Wednesday so that is what happened to my workouts on those days.  Then yesterday I watched movies with my mom and had most of the licorice.  GASP!  Then we had sloppy joes for dinner I did forgo the bun though.  Well enough excuses here is my weigh in results:

Starting weight:  166.2
Last week weight: 161
This week: 158.8
That's a LOSE of 2.2 YAHOO!!!
Its been a month since I started this journey and I now have a lose of 7.4 this month.  A little less then I was hoping for but I will take it I could have that weght still on me or more then likely more.  So ya.  Here is to aleast 5 more pounds next month. 2 more pounds and I will post my first 10 pound progression pictures and measurements.

Week 3 Weigh In

So I am going to start by saying I am actually glad I lost weight this week though you will find out it wasn't much because I only worked out a few days and I was up in Heber with family and needless to say there was movie popcorn, ice cream, chicken fingers.  But the disappointing thing is the scale was saying 160. something all week then this morning:

Starting weight:  166.2
Last week weight: 161.6
This week: 161

What I was 160 all week then this morning 161.  Oh well I am happy I am not gaining and I am going to just keep going.  We are going camping this weekend.  I hope I don't gain too much as there isn't much to do so you usually eat.  I am going to bring along mostly healthy things like fruits and veggies and light yogart but we shall see.

week 2 weigh in results

Starting weight: 166.2
Last week's weight: 161.8
This week's weight:  161.6
That is awooping lose of .8 oz.  UGH not so hot.  But I must say I did indulge so I am gald to see I didn't atleast gain.  Now to reprioritize.  I obviously knw that journaling and counting everything is the key for me so starting today I will be back to journaling.

Not doing so good....

So I have to be honest with you all.  The 4th of July has killed my eating. I totally let it get me off track.  I haven't been journaling everything I have been eating and I think that really helps to keep me accountable.  I have been doing REALLY good with working out.  I have worked out Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.  I have been doing the 30 day shred level 2 and 20 minutes on my elliptical and yet when I weight every day I amin the 162-164 range.  OUCH!  I was done to 161.  I was hoping to be in the late 150's by my next weigh in.  I just don't think that is going to happen.  Today I went to costco and shared a chicken bake with my 2 year old.  Then me, my 2 and 4 year old shared a churro.  So I am thinking either just a salad or yogurt and fruit for dinner which isn't too bad since I am still full from lunch.   I am trying to not let this week set me off course and just be happy I am still working to be healthier even if I didn' lose any weight.  We will see tomorrow.

Happy 4th of July

I hope you all had a fantastic weekend and great 4th of July.  The 4th of July is one of my FAVORITE holidays.  Needless to say I ate way too much.  I worked out on Saturday and Sunday but not on Monday.  I tried to eat okay but not pass up on any of the fun stuff you don't get that often such as funnel cake and cotton candy.  Yum.  Well I gained 2 pounds when I got on the scale this morning but after doing the 30 day shred video and 20 minutes on the elliptical I was at 161.4.  I will take that so I have been gaining and losing the same 2 pounds since Friday.  Now to just keep it off and gain some more.

Week 1 weigh in results

When I weighed in on Wednesday I was 162.  That is a lose of 4.4 pounds!!!!!!!!!  Yahoo.  But I want to switch my days to Friday so here is my weight for this week:
Start weight: 166.4
Today: 161.8
Here is to hoping that next week I will be in the 150's.
